Bringing an existing logbook across

Import is free and has no row limit.

1. Export your existing records to CSV from whatever you use now — another logbook app, or a spreadsheet.
2. Put the file somewhere the Files app can reach it (AirDrop, iCloud Drive, email attachment).
3. In Logbook, open More → Import and pick the file.
4. Check the preview. Nothing is written until you confirm, and column mapping can be adjusted first.

Taking your data out again

More → Export → CSV. Free, complete and unrestricted, in every version — including if you never buy Pro. Your records are yours and the app is not built to hold them hostage.

Which PDF format does the export produce?

The current version produces an EASA-format summary — A4 landscape, laid out in the FCL.050 column order. It is a record-keeping aid for your own use: it is not an official or certified document, and this app is not affiliated with any aviation authority. Always check the output against your authority's current requirements before relying on it.

Is there a subscription?

No, and there will not be one. Logging flights, totals, CSV import and CSV export are free with no cap. Pro is a single payment that unlocks EASA-format PDF export, currency rings, the Home Screen widgets, the Live Activity block timer and the Apple Watch app — permanently, including format updates within this major version.

I bought Pro but it shows as locked (new phone, reinstall, etc.)

Open More → Restore purchase while signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoring is free and can be done as often as you need. If it still shows as locked afterwards, email us — include the date of purchase and we will work it out.

Does it sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Yes, through your own private iCloud, as long as both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled for Logbook. Sync happens in the background and may take a moment after a change. There is no server of ours in the path — see the privacy policy.

Does it work offline?

Completely. The airport data ships inside the app and nothing requires a network connection. Sync simply catches up the next time the device is online.

How do I add the widgets?

Long-press an empty area of the Home Screen → + → search for Logbook. The totals widget is free; the currency widget needs Pro. The block timer appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island once you start timing a flight.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too — the developer cannot issue them. Use reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in the app is broken, tell us anyway; we would rather fix it.
